The Customs Department would like to inform that our offices will be closed on Thursday, the 26th and Friday, the 27th of May 2022 in connection with Ascension Day and the day after. All services will resume on Monday, the 30th of May from 7.30 am.

The Airport Cargo section would like to remind their customers:

  • To send their requests for Customs service promptly in order to avoid any inconvenience that may occur.
  • To take into account, that cargo which require an import permit such as, medications, vegetables, fish, etc. must be arranged promptly.
  • That they must obtain an import permit for articles of temporary import. A request for this must be submitted promptly to the Technical Department of Customs. When this import permit is arranged, it must be subsequently submitted along with a declaration of import.
  • That Customs will only attend to and deliver freight that are of urgency such as cold cargo, living flower, and medications.

We kindly ask all clients and partners to take this announcement into account.

We hope to have informed you sufficiently and at the same time we would like to wish the community of Aruba a Happy Ascension Day.
