How do you file a declaration?

If you arrive by plane or boat in Aruba, you can make a declaration in writing or orally at the airport or harbor. You can do this at the counter of the Customs Department (Departamento di Aduana).

For commercial goods, for the temporary export goods or for goods in respect of which conditional exemption can be granted, you must always do a written declaration.

The Customs Department (Departamento di Aduana) also checks on taking along specific goods.
