Our offices will be closed on Ascension- and Working Time Reduction (ATV) Day

We would like to inform that our offices will be closed on Thursday the 18th of May and Friday, the 19th of May 2023 with regards to Ascension- and a Working Time Reduction (ATV) Day.

All services for clients and general public will continue on the 22nd of May from 7.30 am.

The Airport Cargo department of Customs would like to remind our clients:

  • To send request for Customs service timely in order to avoid any kind of inconveniences.
  • To take into account the cargo’s that require an import permit such as medicine, vegetables, fish, etc. need to be arranged.
  • For articles that are temporary imported, a permit must be obtained. A petition must first be submitted to the Technical Department (Afdeling Techniek) of the Customs. After the permit for temporary import is arranged, this permit must be submitted along with the declaration of import at the Airport Cargo department.
  • Customs will only attend to and release cargo’s that are of urgency, such as cold cargo’s, live plants and medicines.

We ask all clients to take notice of the shared information and we wish the community of Aruba a Happy Ascension Day.
